Конференция SPECOM - "Speech and Computer" - ежегодная конференция, которую проводит Санкт-Петербургский Институт Информатики и Автоматизации Российской Академии Наук. Интересная международная конференция, посвященная в основном распознаванию и генерации речи. Имеет тенденцию расширяться в область мультимодального взаимодействия, что было хорошо видно из последней 9-й конференции, которая проходила в Петербурге. Было много российских и зарубежных коллег и 3 дня, чтобы интересно пообщаться и завязать интересные знакомства.
